The Annual Conference and General Meeting of the International Association of Insolvency Regulators (IAIR) took place this year in Santiago, Chile. The central theme, “Regulatory Responsibilities from AI to Stigma,” brought together heads of insolvency supervisory authorities and experts from more than 30 countries to share experiences, discuss pressing challenges, and agree on common solutions. 

At the conference Latvia was represented by Inese Šteina, Director of the Insolvency Control Service. Inese Šteina  delivered presentations both in a plenary session – providing an overview of the results of the UN UNCITRAL Working Group – and in a workshop on fraud prevention and effective supervision in insolvency processes. More...
