On the reform of the Insolvency Control Service

From October 1, 2026, it is planned to transfer all public administration tasks performed by the Insolvency Control Service to other public administration institutions.

Until September 30, 2026, the Insolvency Control Service will continue to operate as usual, providing all services responsibly, conscientiously, within the specified deadlines, and in full.

Following the reform of the Insolvency Control Service, all of the institution’s functions will continue to be carried out, including the protection of employees in case of insolvency of employer and the protection of public interests in matters relating to legal protection proceedings and insolvency proceedings. Work on the development of the Electronic Insolvency Accounting System (EMUS) will also continue.

On a timely basis, we will inform which institutions will take over the responsibilities of the Insolvency Control Service as a result of the reform, i.e. which institutions individuals and businesses will need to contact in order to protect their interests: to receive a deposit payment, submit a complaint regarding the administrator's actions, request an explanation, etc.
